I had first planned to photograph this sweet couple back in October, but a little thing called Hurricane Sandy got in our way. I am so glad they decided to come back (all the way from San Antonio, TX) for another visit so we could finish what we started!

Fresh-faced, bright-eyed and über-cheerful, you'd never know Alex was new to the city. Oh wait... yes, yes you would. He just radiates that newbie glow! 

I have a feeling this kid is going to do just fine though. One month in town and he's already been to a few auditions, found himself a good serving job (now you're REALLY a professional actor, kid!) and has plenty of friends to show him around town. Yessir, I think he's going to be big success. Best of luck to you, Alex!

Scott Alan LIVE at Birdland

About a month ago I was fortunate enough to assist my friend Nathan Johnson photographing a CD cover for Scott Alan's LIVE at Birdland concert. 

What an event! It was definitely the "Who's Who" of Broadway. The line up included: Wicked's Julia Murney, Ragtime Tony nominee Christiane Noll, Best Actress Tony nominee Laura Osnes, Newsie's Tony nominee Jeremy Jordan and Season 3 winners of "The Sing-Off," Pentatonix.

James & Ashley Wedding 4.12

My hubby's best friend from childhood, James, got married to his beautiful sweetheart, Ashley, last month in Southern California. I was not their wedding photographer by any means (my friend Briana Moore had that job. she is kind of a stupendous photographer. just saying), but I got to snap a few pics myself just for fun!
